A Journey of Excellence
Ashish Kumar is an alumnus of the prestigious Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS). His professional journey began at Hindustan Zinc, where he spent the first eight years of his career as an engineer and associate manager.
During this period, he honed his skills and contributed significantly to the organization.
In April 2012, Ashish transitioned to the role of Manager (Technology Development) at Hindustan Zinc (Vedanta), based in Udaipur.
Over the next five years, he played a pivotal role in developing the technology roadmap, overseeing project scoping, process design, and commercialization.

His commitment to quality and detail-oriented approach earned him accolades within the company.
Ashish’s journey continued to ascend. In August 2018, he assumed the position of Chief People Officer for Odisha Bauxite at Vedanta. His responsibilities further expanded. Within a year and a half, he was promoted to Chief Human Resource Officer for Odisha Bauxite.
By July 2021, he had taken on an additional role as the project leader for group HRMS digital transformation. This is a testament to his versatility and strategic thinking.
