
NextEra Energy, Inc. has announced two key leadership appointments. The company has appointed Kirk Crews as executive vice president and chief risk officer, NextEra Energy.
Brian Bolster is appointed as the new Executive Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at NextEra Energy, succeeding Kirk Crews in his current position.
Additionally, both will be members of the senior leadership team and report directly to John Ketchum, chairman and chief executive officer, NextEra Energy additionally the appointment are effective immediately.
Kirk Crews assumed roles as vice president, controller, and chief accounting officer upon joining the company in April 2016. Before his tenure here, he accrued over 12 years of experience at Deloitte.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in accounting with a minor in leadership studies from the University of Richmond.
Brian Bolster transitions to NextEra Energy from Goldman Sachs, where he amassed nearly 25 years of experience. He began his journey at the energy and power group of Goldman Sachs as an associate in 1999, ascended to the role of managing director in 2007, and attained partnership status in 2012.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in government and an MBA and a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University.
