
Tata Projects appoints Amarjyoti Barua as Chief Financial officer
Amarjyoti Barua joins Tata Projects as Chief Financial officer, effective May 2021. In his new role, he will be responsible for business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and running of all the finance activities for the company.
Amarjyoti has over 22 years of experience in finance across the globe, he is adept at working in a challenging business environment as a strong business partner who has consistently demonstrated the ability to influence cross-functional teams to deliver the best results.
Before joining Tata Projects, Amarjyoti was working with Baker Hughes as Senior Vice President, Finance, Oil Field Services. Baker Hughes is an energy technology company that provides solutions for energy and industrial customers worldwide.
Earlier, he was associated for a long stint with General Electric Group of companies like GE Oil & Gas, GE Power Conversion, GE Transportation, GE India, and GE Global Technology Solutions. As per his LinkedIn profile, he started his career at GE in 1999.
Amarjyoti did graduation in commerce from Hindu College, Delhi University, and holds an MBA- Finance from Faculty of Management Studies – the University of Delhi in 1999.
