
Vodafone Idea ropes in Reema Jain as new Chief Digital Officer from Unilever
Vodafone Idea appoints Reema Jain as the new Chief Digital Officer, reporting to MD & CEO, Ravinder Takkar. In her new role, she will lead digital strategy, execution, and adoption across the company.
She joins the telecom operator from Unilever, where she was the Head of IT, responsible for Supply Chain delivering Digital solutions. Also, before joining Unilever, Reema worked with GE where her last role was Oracle Technology Leader.
In recent months, the telco has seen a handful of senior-level executives exit the firm. These exits include ex-CTO Vishant Vora, former legal head Kumar Das, ex-brand officer Kavita Nair and chief technology security officer (CTSO) Amit Pradhan.
However, the telco has managed to attract senior talent such as Jagbir Singh. He joined as the new Vodafone Idea CTO. Also, Vivek Jain joined the telco as the Executive VP, Marketing, and Mathan Babu Kasilingam as Executive VP, Technology Security.
She has almost 2 decades of work experience across IT Strategy, Technology Delivery, Digital Solutions, ERP, Transformation Project Management, Operational Excellence, Devops and Agile Methodologies. She completed her B.E. in Electronics from Nagpur University. Incidentally, she is also a qualified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
