HCLTech appoints Lee Fang Chew as Independent Director
Between 1986 and 2016, she collaborated with Intel Corporation, where she assumed numerous leadership roles. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in enhancing the Intel architecture ecosystem across various sectors.

HCLTech, a leading global technology company, has announced the appointment of Lee Fang Chew as an Independent Director of the company with effect from April 25, 2024.   

Lee Fang Chew brings in over three decades of rich experience in the global technology industry and has deep understanding and know-how in analysing changes and evolution in technology, particularly in the computing industry.

Between 1986 and 2016, she collaborated with Intel Corporation, where she assumed numerous leadership roles. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in enhancing the Intel architecture ecosystem across various sectors, including data centers, cloud services, and both consumer and business domains.

Additionally, she oversaw Intel’s Global Distribution & Channel revenue and held the position of Financial Controller for Asia Pacific.

Following her time at Intel, she joined Applied Materials as Vice President of Strategic Alliances from 2017 to 2020, where she played a key role in refining the company’s technology value proposition and fostering enduring strategic partnerships.

Lee Fang Chew earned her Bachelor of Accountancy from the National University of Singapore and completed the Women’s Director Development Program at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.

Additionally, she participated in executive programs for women leaders at Stanford University. Her influence and leadership were recognized when VAR Business Magazine named her one of the 50 most powerful women of the channel in the USA in August 2006.
