Bajaj Allianz Life appoints Santanu Banerjee as its new Chief Human Resources Officer, effective from May 2020.

Prior to joining Bajaj Allianz, Santanu was working as EVP and CHRO at Star Union Dai-ichi Life Insurance. He holds over 20 years of experience in human resources and previously worked with companies like Hathway Cable & Datacom Ltd, Aditya Birla Health Insurance Company, IMRB International, Exide Life Insurance and etc.
Santanu has helped build winning teams and establish differentiated cultures. As a trained coach, he is a strong believer in mentoring people to bring out the best in them.
He graduated from the University of Calcutta and holds masters degree in Human resources from Army Institute of Management, Kolkata in 1999.
In leisure time, Santanu likes reading literature and playing musical instruments (trained classical musicians) to de-stress himself.
