
As per the exchange filing, an Indian private sector bank, Karnataka Bank has appointed Niranjan Kumar as Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) with effect from 10.06.2024.
Niranjan Kumar is a qualified HR professional with over 23 years of HR & IR experience and is adept at strategic HR planning, talent management, and organizational design, with a proven track record in change management.
He is an accomplished HR executive offering a wealth of experience in leading and transforming HR functions at unit and enterprise levels.
Niranjan has demonstrated expertise in strategic HR planning, talent management, organizational development, and change management.
He excels at implementing initiatives that boost employee engagement, cultivate a high-performance culture, and achieve sustainable business results.
Niranjan is known for his exceptional leadership skills and his ability to collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders.
Prior to Karnataka Bank, he was associated with HDFC Bank as Head of HRBP. He has been working with the organization for over 17 years.

Previously, he was Dy. Manager -HR at Apollo Global Projects Consultancy. In this role, he was the youngest Head of HR of a unit (Mysore) Planned and commissioned 5 business units for Apollo in MENA & Asia Regions.
