
MetLife, Inc. has announced that Shurawl Sibblies will join the company as executive vice president and chief human resources officer, effective Aug. 1, 2024.
She will report to President and Chief Executive Officer Michel Khalaf and become a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

Shurawl comes to MetLife from American Express, where she was executive vice president and colleague strategic partner leading talent, organizational and leadership development strategies for several businesses and functions.

Prior to American Express, She served as senior vice president and human resources business partner for MetLifeās U.S. Business, Global Employee Benefits and Investments teams, as well as several of the companyās functions.
She has also held leadership positions in human resources, finance and product management for companies including TIAA, Citigroup and Hewlett-Packard.
On her appointment in the new role Shurawl Sibblies said, āPeople are at the heart of HR and drive company performance, and MetLife shares my passion to empower people to be their best and enable organizations to thrive. Iām thrilled to be rejoining the company.ā
She holds her B.S. in business administration from the University of Albany. She completed her M.S. in predictive analytics from Northwestern University, and her M.B.A. in finance from the University of Rochester.
