
PeopleStrong Co-founder and Chief Business Officer Shelly Singh passes away
HR solutions and Tech firm, PeopleStrong Co-founder Shelly Singh passed on Sunday, July 12 fighting cancer.
Shelly Singh, who was 43, had set up PeopleStrong in 2006 along with Pankaj Bansal. PeopleStrong confirmed the development in a statement.
“She will live and be felt in our work and commitment to all employees and clients of PeopleStrong,” the statement posted to various social media platforms said.

At PeopleStrong, she has been instrumental in formulating and actualizing strategic business plans, designing and implementing competitive, innovative, and integrated HR solutions for reputed clients across various industry sectors and levels. A seasoned HR professional with rich experience in setting up HR processes, policies, as well as rolling out end-to-end implementation plans, she has worked with companies like Sony, Aricent Technologies, Hewitt, and high-end technology start-ups.
Shelly was the first woman board member at PeopleStrong, along with being on the Board of Wheebox, a next-gen online assessment company. She was also the National Treasurer and Board Member for the National HRD Network (NHRDN) and the first woman executive team member in the NHRDN’s leadership team.
Shelly did a Master’s Degree in HR and International Business from NMIMS, Mumbai, and a Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Punjab University.
