The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has announced that EPFO services are available on DigiLocker.
EPFO has shared on social media, “Members can download UAN Card, Pension Payment Order (PPO) and Scheme Certificate through #DigiLocker.”

Now, the EPFO services available on DigiLocker are as follows:
- UAN card
- Pension Payment Order (PPO)
- Scheme Certificate
The EPFO members should know that to avail of the above-mentioned services on DigiLocker, one has to register with DigiLocker in the first place. Then one has to verify oneself and after that one has to fetch the documents on DigiLocker.
How to sign up on the DigiLocker website?
Step 1: Visit https://digilocker.gov.in/
Step 2: Click on the Sign-up option
Step 3: A new webpage will open on your screen where you will be required to enter your mobile number/Aadhaar number.
Step 4: A one-time password (OTP) will be sent to your mobile number. This OTP received will be valid for only 10 minutes.
If you have entered your Aadhaar number, ensure that your mobile number is linked with your Aadhaar to receive the OTP.
Step 5: Enter the OTP in the designated area and click on continue.
Step 6: Enter the details as requested: Name, Date of birth, Gender, and Email ID. Your name, date of birth, and gender should be as per Aadhaar.
Step 7: Click on Submit. If you have signed up using your mobile number, then you will be asked to enter your Aadhaar number.
Step 8: You will be required to set a 6-digit security PIN. This PIN will work as a password and will be required for every login.
The EPFO members must note that certain EPFO-related services are available on the UMANG app. EPFO has also been informed to be “ALERT Beware of Fraudsters!” to alert members to the danger they may be facing. The EPFO members can log in to the official website of EPFO at epfindia.gov.in for any queries and doubts.
