Zomato is hiring for 800 vacant positions founder posts job vacancies
Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal posted several job vacancies on LinkedIn as the company is looking forward to hiring around 800 people in various roles including engineers, product managers, growth managers, and so on.

An Indian multinational restaurant aggregator and food delivery company, Zomato is hiring for 800 vacant positions.

Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal posted several job vacancies on LinkedIn as the company is looking forward to hiring around 800 people in various roles including engineers, product managers, growth managers, and so on.

Deepinder Goyal shared a post on LinkedIn saying, “Hello everyone – we have about 800 positions open across these 5 roles at Zomato. If you happen to know someone really good for any of these roles, please tag them on this thread.”

“To express interest in knowing more about any of these roles, please email me at deepinder@zomato.com – me and/or my team will be prompt in responding to you and closing the loop either way”, the post added.

Commenting on the hiring the company said on its career page, “The right people got us here, and we are on the lookout for those who will bring us closer to our vision, and make a difference.”

“If you know someone at Zomato, reach out to them and share why you would be a great fit”, the company added.

The hiring comes when Tech companies including Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, Meta, and Twitter have either retrenched employees or sacked many employees.

There were reports that food aggregator Zomato has scrapped its 10-minute delivery service a year after piloting it in Bengaluru, Gurugram, and in some areas of Delhi.

Earlier, Zomato Ltd co-founder, Mohit Gupta resigned from the company. Mohit resigned after about five years at the food aggregator. His resignation follows that of the company’s deputy chief financial officer, Nitin Savara, who stepped down in August.

In November, it was reported that Zomato had laid off under 3% of its employees which affected around 100 of its 3,800-strong workforce.

Recently, Zomato has relaunched its loyalty program ‘Zomato Gold’ on an invite-only basis. This comes against the backdrop of tapering GOV growth, driven by slower addition in monthly transacting users and lowering of ordering frequency.
