Mondelez Decade-Long Commitment to Youth Skilling

Mondelez India takes pride in its decade-long national Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program called Shubh Aarambh.

Through this initiative, the company has consistently focused on upskilling and training young individuals. Recognizing that youth skilling holds the key to long-term quality of life, Mondelez has trained nearly 1,000 young people over the past ten years.

Launching a Transformative Pilot Project

To further amplify its impact, Mondelez recently launched a pilot project in collaboration with the National Skills Development Corporation (NSDC).

This project aims to benefit 660 young individuals across two states in India: Bhind, Madhya Pradesh, and Pune, Maharashtra. The project targets multiple sectors, including Management, Hospitality & Tourism, Retail, IT-ITeS, and Logistics.

Commenting on International Youth Day, Ophira Bhatia, Senior Director, India & Lead, Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Africa, Corporate & Government Affairs- Mondelez International said, “As we celebrate International Youth Day, Mondelez India is proud to highlight the work we have done to upskill and train young people over the years through our decade-long national CSR program, Shubh Aarambh,”

2- Qualification Pack (QP) Led Training: The project utilizes QP-led training modules, ensuring that participants acquire industry-relevant skills.

3- Assessment and Certification: After completing the training, candidates undergo assessment and receive certifications, enhancing their employability.

4- Placement Opportunities: Mondelez actively collaborates with employers to provide placement opportunities for trained youth.
