The senior top HR leaders functions as strategic business partners for divisions leading the human resources (HR) function and will serve as active leaders on HR policies, practices, resources, and transactions.

The top leading organizations such as Kotak Mahindra Bank, Tech Mahindra, UltraTech Cement, HDFC securities, and more have appointed their top HR Leadership such as CHRO and CPO in January 2024.

The latest top HR leadership appointments of CHRO & HR-Head appointments in January 2024 are as below:-

Kotak Mahindra Bank appointed Anupam Kaura as CHRO

India’s leading financial services conglomerate, Kotak Mahindra Bank has appointed Anupam Kaura as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

In his role, he will be responsible for the entire HR process of Kotak Mahindra Bank and additionally, he will be spearheading organizational transformation.

Shanti Ekambaram, Whole Time Director, Kotak Mahindra Bank said “Anupam has a unique blend of experience in strategic HR leadership, change management, and technology integration.”

“We believe his rich experience in leading large transformative initiatives aligns with Kotak’s vision to be a tech-enabled, customer-centric financial institution for the future”, Shanti Ekambaram added.

Richard Lobo joined Tech Mahindra as Chief People Officer

An Indian multinational information technology services and consulting company, Tech Mahindra has appointed Richard Lobo as Chief People Officer (CPO).

On appointment of Richard Lobo Mohit Joshi said, “Welcome aboard, Richard. Your people-first approach to empowering organizations in the new world of work and passion for nurturing young leaders will catalyze shaping our future. Look forward to taking #TechMahindraOnwardsAndUpwards, together.”

Richard Lobo is ex- Infosys HR Head, and Executive Vice President and he resigned from the company on August 4, 2023.

UltraTech Cement appointed Chandrashekhar Chavan as CHRO

An Indian multinational cement company, UltraTech Cement has announced the appointment of Chandrashekhar Chavan as Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO) effective 1 April 2024.

The company said in a statement, “The Board of Directors at its meeting approved the appointment of Mr. Chandrashekhar Chavan, as Chief Human Resource Officer (Designate), Senior Management Personnel of the Company with effect from 16th February 2024.”

“He will take on the role of Chief Human Resource Officer from 1st April 2024,” the company added.

He started his journey at the Aditya Birla Group in 1996, he had the privilege of playing various roles to sharpen his learning curve across diverse sectors including Metals (Hindalco Industries), Financial Services (Birla Sun Life Mutual Funds), and Cement (Ultratech Cement). 

GE Healthcare elevated Nisha Srinivasan as CHRO, India & South Asia

A leading global medical technology company, GE Healthcare has elevated Nisha Srinivasan as CHRO, India & South Asia.

She has confirmed the appointment on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer, India & South Asia at Wipro-GE Healthcare & GE HealthCare!”

Most recently, Nisha was Head of Talent Management, Intercontinental Region. She has been associated with the organization since July 2022.

Myntra names Govindraj MK as Chief Human Resources Officer

A major Indian fashion e-commerce company, Myntra has appointed Govindraj MK as Chief human resources officer (CHRO).

The appointment is effective 1 March. He is currently Vice President of Human Resources Technology Group and People Tech & Analytics at Flipkart.

He is an experienced HR Leader with 22 plus years of experience across multiple high-growth organizations and multi-geography. He has led large teams and influenced the organization to create an environment that facilitates developing the employee potential to its best.

HDFC securities elevated Neetika Bhatia as CHRO

Investment services provider, HDFC Securities has elevated Neetika Bhatia as Chief Human Resource Officer (CHRO). Most recently, she was EVP and Head of Human Resources with the organization.

She is an HR leader with over 17 years of experience across the gamut of HR including HR Advisory, Talent & Organisation development, and Rewards across Banking and IT.

She has worked with teams across geographies, in matrix structures; and partnered with diverse businesses to drive people’s agenda in challenging business environments. 

Bragg Gaming got Simon Dudnjik Chief Human Resources Officer

A global iGaming technology and content provider, Bragg Gaming Group has announced the appointment of Simon Dudnjik in its senior executive team as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

In this role, he will be overseeing people functions at the Company’s offices in Las Vegas, Reno, London, Malta, Toronto, and Chennai. His appointment is effective January 1, 2024.

Stashfin appointed Subir Roy Chowdhury as CHRO

A leading financial services platform, Stashfin has appointed Subir Roy Chowdhury as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

He has confirmed the appointment on social media and said, “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Chief Human Resources Officer at Stashfin!”

Subir has over two decades of experience in the HR domain. He joined the organization from Satin Creditcare Network Limited where he was Chief Human Resources Officer.

V-Trans (India) Ltd appointed Shiv Rawat as CHRO

A preferred single window logistics solution provider, V-Trans (India) Ltd has appointed Shiv Rawat as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Shiv Rawat’s core competencies include HR systems, processes, and practices, talent management and retention, knowledge management, organizational training, and coaching skills.

Renu Bohra joined CK Birla Group’s National Engineering Industries as CHRO

An integral part of CK Birla Group, National Engineering Industries (NBC Bearings) has appointed Renu Bohra as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Renu has strong HR domain knowledge with over 25 years of experience. She has a proven track record of strategic business partnering, culture-building, and organizational transformation.

Previously, she has worked in MNCs, Indian business houses, and public sector companies, spread across key sectors of Logistics & Supply chain, Professional Services, Healthcare Services, Consumer Durables, Engineering, and Manufacturing.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise elevated Kristin Major as EVP and CPO

The global edge-to-cloud company, Hewlett Packard Enterprise has appointed Kristin Major as executive vice president and chief people officer (EVP and CPO).

Antonio Neri, CEO, said, “Having worked in several different parts of the business over the last 12 years, Kristin has strong relationships and a deep understanding of the needs and opportunities across the enterprise.”

The appointment is effective February 1, 2024, and Kristin Major will be reporting to President and Chief Executive Officer Antonio Neri. She will succeeds Alan May, who held the CPO role since joining the company in 2015.
