Moody’s appoints Maral Kazanjian as Chief People Officer
In her previous tenure with Moody’s, she held senior leadership roles in employee relations and employment law and served as a member of the HR Leadership Team and Executive Diversity Council.

Moody’s Corporation has announced that it has named Maral Kazanjian as Chief People Officer, effective February 14, 2022.

In this role, she will be responsible for the company’s strategy to attract, develop, and retain extraordinary talent. She will serve as a member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team.

Maral brings an extensive background in employee relations, talent management, and employment law. Most recently, she served as the Chief People Officer for WeWork, where she led talent strategy and workforce planning for its global employee base.

In her previous tenure with Moody’s, she held senior leadership roles in employee relations and employment law and served as a member of the HR Leadership Team and Executive Diversity Council. Previously, Ms. Kazanjian was an associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.

Maral holds a J.D. from the Rutgers School of Law-Newark and a B.A. in Government and Psychology from Georgetown University.
