According to the reports of TOI, Concentrix will hire 5,000 people out of which 50% will be women, for its centre within the next few years. Additionally, the company is planning to hire 2,000 people.

TATA-Group-owned Air India received 700 applications in a span of one week for the position of pilot. The airline currently employs more than 1,800 pilots

Air India spokesperson said, “The recruitment of pilots is in preparation for the augmented large fleet of 470 aircraft. We have already received over 700 applications in the last few days in response to the advertisement which is under process.”

“As a continuation of this recruitment process we are conducting walk-in interviews in Mumbai, Delhi, and Bengaluru”, it added.

Air India was set to hire more than 1,000 pilots in a bid to expand its fleet and network. The carrier is hiring both captains, as well as trainers, according to an advertisement.

“We are offering multiple opportunities and accelerated growth across our A320, B777, B787, and B737 fleet for captains and first officers, as well as trainers,” it said.

Earlier, Air India announced plans to hire over 4200 cabin crew trainees and 900 pilots in 2023 as the airline adds new aircraft and rapidly expands its domestic and international operations.

Concentrix to hire 5,000 people

An American business services company specializing in customer engagement and business performance, Concentrix has opened its customer experience centre.

The company shared the information on its LinkedIn page and said, “We are thrilled to announce the inauguration of our 42k sqft. state-of-the-art customer engagement center at Bhubaneswar.”

“With the occasion graced by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik we can’t wait to get to work on this exciting new chapter!”, the company added.

Ravinder Rana, senior vice president at Concentrix, said, “They will take more spaces, hire more people, and partner with local agencies.”

“We will have to bring in a significant amount of capital expenditure that will be in multi-million dollars in the years to come”, Ravinder added.
