Technology-driven end-to-end logistics solutions provider to the e-commerce industry, Ecom Express Limited has set up its largest fulfilment center in Karnataka.
It is one of the largest outsourced single-brand e-grocery fulfilment centers in India. The center is located in Hoskote, Bengaluru on an area of 2 lac square feet.
K. Satyanarayana, Co-founder & Director, of Ecom Express said, “Today’s consumers are served with varied options thus placing a heavy demand on e-grocery players to provide speedy fulfillment of their orders at value.”
“This is a challenging proposition as it requires the ability to manage complexities to match the demand at scale and size”, K. Satyanarayana added.
K. Satyanarayana further said, “We will continue to invest and expand our fulfilment centers in response to customer needs and are in the process of launching five more centers by the end of September 2022 to enable online grocery players to tap into this fast-growing market and benefit from the e-grocery boom.”
The new fulfilment center is the second grocery facility set up by the Company in Karnataka. The new center will aid and support one of the leading e-grocery brands to deliver a wide selection of grocery products to consumers in and around Bengaluru city through its 100 hyper-local stores.

The company is expecting a spike in e-commerce order deliveries during the festival season and seeks to further strengthen its last-mile capabilities.
Ashish Sikka, Chief Strategy Officer, Ecom Express, said, “When it comes to e-commerce order deliveries, customers expect timely service, and at Ecom Express, we continue to attempt to create better customer experiences.”
“In times when the number of parcels is continuously increasing, owing to industry growth, we have clearly seen the advantage of having gig-workers to help strengthen our delivery capabilities, especially to meet the anticipated surge in customer demand during the festive season”, Ashish Sikka said.
Ashish Sikka further said, “We will continue to expand our delivery partner network and offer them benefits along with earning opportunities through our Ecom Sanjeev program.”
