According to TOI, In a recent case, an employee Amit Badgurjar (accused) who was posted as an office boy in the dealership escaped along with a brand-new demo car on Sunday night around 10 pm.

According to his complaint, ā€œThere was 47-liter diesel in the car fuel tank. After two days, on Tuesday around 4 pm. The security guard at the showroom informed him that the car was spotted parked on the other side of the roadā€, the complaint added.

Case background

The accused drove the demo car for around 220 km without informing anyone in the showroom.

  • The accused drove the demo car for two days.
  • The car was left damaged with the key in the ignition lock outside the showroom and escaped.
  • It was found that the left headlight, fog lamps, and bumper of the car were damaged.

Case Findings

During the finding of the Police said that Janoriya alleged:

  • The car’s meter reading was checked and was found that the car was driven around 220 KMs.
  • In CCTV cameras the accused was spotted parking the vehicle on Monday around 1 am.
  • The accused carelessly left the keys in the ignition lock.

After the finding, the police registered a case against the accused and further investigations are underway.
