
SAP Labs in India has started the construction of its second office in Bengaluru. It is expected that the company will create 15,000 jobs.
The campus is being constructed near the Bengaluru International Airport. Additionally, the new campus will span 41.07 acres.
Sindhu Gangadharan, MD and SVP, of SAP Labs India said, “As SAP Labs India marks its 25th Anniversary this year, we are deepening our investments in India with a new 41-acre campus that would create 15,000 new jobs in Bangalore.”
“This campus in Devanahalli, North Bangalore will be a reflection of SAP’s vision towards minimizing environmental impact and is designed to be Net Zero, Water Positive, and Carbon Neutral in operations. Additionally, employee wellness and inclusivity would be central to the people’s experience at SAP’s new campus”, Sindhu Gangadharan added.
Sindhu Gangadharan further said, “We are elated at the commencement of construction work and can’t wait to further elevate people’s experiences at SAP with this new campus. The first phase of the facility is expected to be operational by 2025.”
It is expected that the first phase of the facility will be operational by 2025. The company engineers solutions to fuel innovation, foster equality, and spread opportunity across borders and cultures.
Moreover, the campus will double down on minimizing environmental impact, and focus on employee wellness and inclusivity. SAP currently has 20 labs across 17 countries. SAP Labs currently employs 43,000 employees across the globe.
