Intel Country Head Nivruti Rai resigns, to lead Invest India
Nivruti worked with the company in the US from 1994 to 2005. In September 2005, she moved to India as a Senior Director, Chipset Engineering and Intellectual Property Development at the Group.

Intel said in a statement that its India Head Nivruti Rai has stepped down from the company after 29 years of long association.

In her most recent role, she was India’s Head and Vice-President of Intel Foundry services starting at Intel in February 1994 as a design engineer.

“We are grateful to Nivruti for the tremendous progress Intel India has made under her leadership,” Intel said in a statement.

Nivruti worked with the company in the US from 1994 to 2005. In September 2005, she moved to India as a Senior Director, Chipset Engineering and Intellectual Property Development at the Group.

The company said in a statement that it would soon share more details about the leadership plans for Intel India.

According to The New Indian Express, Nivruti Rai is likely to be appointed as MD and CEO of Invest India, a non-profit organization under the Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion of the Ministry of Commerce.
