SV Nathan departs Deloitte India as Partner & Chief Talent Officer
He joined Deloitte India in 2005 as Senior Director and Chief Talent Officer and he got promoted as Partner and Chief Talent Officer in 2015. before joining Deloitte India Nathan was associated with Reliance Infocomm as Head- HR, Networks.

SV Nathan bids farewell to Deloitte India after 19 years, departing from his role as Partner and Chief Talent Officer with gratitude and best wishes.

On March 31, 2024, Nathan announced his retirement on LinkedIn. Transitioning into entrepreneurship, he assumes the role of Co-Founder and Chairman at Visara Human Capital Consulting, marking a new chapter in his career journey.

Sharing his retirement on social media, Nathan said, Alvida’, dear Deloitte. Today is a momentous day in my life. The last day that I can carry a Deloitte lanyard about me, at least officially. Nineteen long years and have decided to retire from one of the greatest organizations that I have ever worked for. Not easy. Your identity is shaped by the company you keep, perhaps. Certainly, it is as such for me.”

Nathan boasts over 40 years in HR across Manufacturing, Hospitality, IT, Telecom, and Professional Services, offering diverse expertise and insights

He joined Deloitte India in 2005 as Senior Director and Chief Talent Officer and he got promoted as Partner and Chief Talent Officer in 2015. before joining Deloitte India Nathan was associated with Reliance Infocomm as Head- HR, Networks.

Previously, he also worked with prestigious companies like; Planetasia, Microland, Sterling Holiday Resorts Ltd, and ICI India (Imperial Chemical Industries).

Nathan is a revered figure in the Indian HR profession, often addressing national and global forums on contemporary HR issues. He received the ‘Distinguished Alumnus Award’ from XLRI, his Alma Mater.

Nathan’s influence extends to the digital realm, acknowledged as a top 25 thought leader by SAP. LinkedIn named him one of the top three Power Profiles in HR for 2017. His #OfficeTruths posts garner widespread acclaim

In 2019, Nathan assumed the role of senior faculty member representing India at The Josh Bersin Academy, further solidifying his standing in the HR education sphere.
